Highgate
School
Founded over 450 years ago, Highgate is London’s independent school of the decade (Pre-Preparatory, Junior and Senior).
So their new website needed to reflect the school’s ethos of achieving remarkable results as a by-product of their overall excellence.
Our creative concept of ‘beyond a school’ worked seamlessly and fluidly: from showing exceptional pupil attainment in maths (‘beyond numbers’) to impressive Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award success (‘beyond horizons’).
Highgate itself is all about pushing progress and reaching further. That’s why we went ‘beyond photography’ within our own campaign – by creating distinctive cinemagraphs (a hybrid of photography and video with subtle motion that plays in a perpetual loop) which delivered something extra special to the total visual experience.
As well as being integrated into Highgate’s innovative website, our ‘beyond…’ campaign will also play a key role in the school’s advertising (digital and print). Above all, this confident creative route does justice to an ever-ambitious educational institution.
We’re very proud that the site has won not one but two Communicator Distinction Awards.

Working with Paul, Chris and the team was an absolute pleasure throughout the project. They listened carefully to what we wanted and were able to draw upon their considerable knowledge and experience to guide and support us in the structure and design of the site. They came up with creative ideas and were open to our often wacky suggestions. The team worked to schedule, enabling us to launch our new website on time and on budget. At all times, the whole me&him team were highly responsive and endlessly patient with my daft requests. We chose me&him as the attention to detail in their pitch was superb and I am pleased to say that this carried through in their design work and in how they support our site now that it is live. I really enjoyed working with them and hope to work with them again in future.
