Hunny Bell Happy Hour

The Hunny Bell has started a "recession Session" in its cracking pub area. Every Wednesday and Friday from 5.30pm - 6.30pm and then for a second helping 9pm - 9.30pm. Also every Sunday from 2.30pm - 3.30pm. The Hunny Bell Happy Hour making the week a little better!

 

Live Jazz

Live jazz every second Wednesday of the month with the fabulous trio of "Sounds Easy". A few pints or glasses of wine with some delicious bowls of hand cut chips could not go down better while listening to this very entertaining jazz band.

 

New Member of the Hunny Bell Family

We at the Hunny Bell would like to welcome the newest member of our kitchen staff Craig Wadsworth aged 24 is our new Sous Chef replacing Max Emmerson, who will be sadly missed as he returns to macintosh's.
Craig has been working in and around kitchens since he was 13, with over 8 years experiance as a chef he gained his NVQ 3 at our local city college in 2006 and has now arrived here with us at the hunny bell as a truely welcome addtion.

 

Andy Snowling Game & Country Fair Demonstration 2012

Andy Snowling Head Chef will be demonstrating a variety of dishes from the Spring menu on Saturday 28th April at 11.45am. It will be the third year that Andy has been asked to perform at the event at the Norflk showground.

 

A hidden gem - Andy Snowling

Here at The Hunny Bell & Animal Inns we would like to congratulate our Head Chef Andy Snowling for winning the Great British Pub Food Awards for the Dessert Catagory, with his now Award Winning Trio of ‘Hunny Bell’ Chocolate Desserts, with Warm Dark Chocolate Fondant, Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate & Marshmallow Ice Cream.We are all tremendously happy for Andy it is an amazing acheivement and one of many more to come. Andy has been working for Animal Inns since he was 16 and now at the ripe old age of 25 is head Chef of the groups North Norfolk hidden gem the Hunny Bell.

A previous winner of the 2005 EDP Young Chef of the Year, Andy has been the Sous Chef at the Award winning Wildebeest Arms for the past 18 months. Andy could have chosen the world of football for a career having trialled for Aston Villa at an early age but cooking is his great passion second only to his ever expanding young family.

Henry Watt proprietor of Animal Inns said ‘Andy is a real credit to himself, his family. He started washing up pots and pans and ended up as a head chef at only 24 being able to produce talent like this from within the business is a great testament to all concerned”
